"Exploring Neurodiversity" Presented by Rachael Pickford

Rachael has been practicing as a Registered Psychologist for over 20 years. As both a Psychologist and registered Behaviour Support Practitioner working in the Disability field, Rachael primarily works with individuals of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, psychosocial disabilities caused by chronic mental illness, and Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities. In this role, Rachael has provided Clinical Supervision to other Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners for over 10 years. Rachael has also spent some years working in Private Practice servicing both neurotypical and neurodiverse children, adolescents, and adults with mental health concerns. Rachael is particularly interested in championing the education and exploration of neurodiversity in the high functioning population, where diagnosis can be commonly overlooked as the presentations often vary from more classic forms, particularly for girls and women.
